A new book is helping raise funds to defeat dementia.

Little Kitty: The Cat Burglar is a collaboration between eight authors - under the collective pen name of Caterina Longtail - and includes former Stainton le Vale writer Lesley Tither.

Each chapter is written by one of the authors - Lesley is chapter six- and all proceeds will go to charity.

Lesley lived and worked in the Rasen area for 11 years before moving to France. Her mother suffered from dementia and was in a care home before moving to live in France with Lesley and her son, Peter.

Lesley said: “All of the funds raised go to Alzheimer’s research, and these days most of us at least know of someone affected by dementia, if not have a relative who is.”

Lesley writes travel memoirs under the pen-name Tottie Limejuice, and is the author of crime novels, the DI Ted Darling series, under the pen-name L M Krier. Little Kitty is available to buy on Amazon.
