This month Rasen Hub is proud to host a display by the Rase Heritage Society which shows life in the Tudor Period.
This will feature information about Tudor England, Tudor Lincolnshire and Tudor Market Rasen.
There will be tales of murder and uprising and a list of families in the town in the 1500s. Go along and see if you can spot an ancestor.

Herbal Workshop- Medicine Making Skills - Tuesday October 6, 7pm until 9pm
This month’s herbal workshop with Ali English covers basic herbal medicine making skills, from tinctures and elixirs to baths, decoctions and salves. Take along your own jars and bottles, plus either brandy or vodka for your own tincture or elixir. All other materials supplied. £15 per session.
n Junior Craft Club - £3 per child - Saturday October 3 and October 31, 10am
Lots of fun for children of all ages. Please book early, places are limited
n Weaving with Jan - Craft Workshop - Wednesday October 7 -1.30pm until 3.30pm
Take along a ball of wool and a large darning needle. £5 per person including light refreshments.
n Driftwood Mobiles - Friday October 2, 7pm until 9pm
Use a variety of materials collected from the sea shore – wood, shells, sea glass etc – to create your own drop down mobile. Cost £15 including all materials.
n Sea Glass Workshop - Monday October 5, 7pm until 9pm
Make Christmas Trees from sea glass. Cost £15 including all materials.
n Angels and Fairies - Wednesday October 7, 10am until 12 noon
Use needle felting techniques to create magic. Cost £15 including all materials
n Driftwood Trees for Christmas - Friday October 30, 7pm until 9pm
Make a larger tree, approximately two foot tall. Cost £20 including all materials.

n Family History - Are you researching your Family History and needing help? Drop in to chat to others for advice and guidance. Last Friday of the month, from 10am until 12noon. £2.50 including a cuppa.
