The funeral service for retired assistant dock master Captain Raymond Harry Atkinson, aged 83 years of Stainton le Vale, was held at Grimsby Crematorium.
The Rev John Carr officiated at the service and arrangements were by J Marshall of Market Rasen. Raymond was born in the Lincolnshire village of Ludborough.
He served in the Royal Navy and also sat on the Lincolnshire Police Committee.
