The funeral for Kathleen Edith Mannion, aged 86 years of Glentham was held at the parish church.

The Rev Adrian Smith officiated at the service and arrangements were by J Marshall of Market Rasen.

Kathleen was born at Brattleby, but had lived in Glentham for 64 years.

In her younger years, she had worked at The Chestnuts and also at Smiths Crisps in Lincoln, before marrying Michael Mannion in 1948 on St Patrick’s Day in Holy Rood Catholic Church, Market Rasen.

She was a very keen gardener and won the best kept garden for many years.

She will be very sadly missed by her loving family and friends.
