The funeral service for John Ibberson Wilcockson, aged 83 years of Market Rasen, was held in the parish church.
The Rev Canon Ian Robinson officiated at the service and arrangements were by J Marshall.
John was born at Hull to Hilda and Ibberson Wilcockson.
He trained first as an electrician and then went on to work as a driving instructor, a planner and estimator on Immingham Docks, then the gas board and, finally, at Falcon Cycles in Brigg, where he stayed on an extra year after retirement.
John loved the outdoors and was a member of both Stallingborough and Market Rasen rifle clubs.
John was happily married for almost 60 years to Mary, who sadly died last year.
He is survived by his children, Paul and Louise.
Family mourners were: Paul and Louise Wilcockson (son and daughter); Shirley Parker (sister-in-law); Maxine Parker (niece); Michael and Doreen Allard (brother-in-law and wife); Terry and Linda Whittington (nephew and wife).
