Italian songsters Veronica Sbergia and Max De Bernardi head to Holton le Moor for this Sunday’s blues session at The Hope Tavern.
The pair, who make up two thirds of the Red Wine Seranaders, play country blues and ragtime, hokum, jug band and rural music from the 20s and 30s - and they play it with a passion.
They won the European Blues Challenge 2013, an important international contest held in Toulouse, and, as a result, performed at the prestigious Notodden Blues Festival in Norway.
They will also take part in the Lucerne Blues Festival in November.
Their music is an overview of the American popular music from the early years of the last century reinterpreting great songs with a modern twist and their own unique style.
The show starts at 4pm and the door charge is £8.
