Two days of Medieval mayhem hit Caistor by storm as the crowds turned out for endless fun over the extended two-day event.
Authentic reconstructions of battle 13th century-style were re-enacted, complete with the firing of cannons, the first being ignited by the Mayor, Carol Mackenzie.
There were minstrels with instruments of the day and stands dotted around the South Street Park venue displaying an array of armour, helmets, coins and cakes.
Popular performers Earthbound Misfits entertained with dragons, jesters, jousting and fire juggling.
There was also a good number of people dressed in Medieval outfits to help Caistor Goes..... in their celebration of the Magna Carta year.
But the event would not have been the success it was without the dedicated team of volunteers who put in endless hours of work.
