A magnificent £454.90 was raised at a Macmillan morning in Market Rasen Library, organised by volunteer Jane Gillard.
“I can’t believe we raised that much – I am so pleased,” said Jane.
A name card for a fantastic fully-fitted dolls house had been ongoing, with the winner being David Jolly.
A second do-it-yourself dolls house kit had also been donated and this was won by Lynsey Sykes.
“Thank you to everyone who supported the event,” said Jane.
“I had an awful lot of help and would like to say a special thank you to the library staff and everyone else who helped, including Gail Lee, who worked with the children making snow globes, Sandra Maddison on the tombola and Andy on the raffle.
“We also had an incredible number of raffle prizes, too.”
Businesses that supported the event included Tesco, the Co-op, Jacques, The Gift Horse, Something Special, Blue River Jewellery, Albion Tearoom, Jossal’s, Chocolate Drop, Style Studio, Mole Valley Stores, Mrs Mace and M& J catering.
