Remembrance Sunday 2015 is on November 8 and members of the Tealby and Market Rasen Royal British Legion invite everyone to join them in remembering the past and present sacrifices made by our armed forces personnel.
The branch’s Annual Remembrance Service will be held at St Thomas’ Church, starting at 9.30am.
This will be followed by the Town Council parade from the Market Place to the War Memorial in Chapel Street, where there will be a short service of remembrance and wreath laying by various organisations in the town.
The branch will also hold a two-minute silence at the war memorial on Wednesday November 11, at 11am.
The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal opens this year on Saturday, October 24, and extends to Remembrance Sunday.
Once again volunteers will be going house to house collecting for this cause.
Poppies will also be available in the shops, public houses and clubs in the town and surrounding villages.
