Residents have until 11.59pm this evening (Wednesday, November 25) to have their say on the draft Central Lincolnshire Local Plan.
The Central Lincolnshire Joint Strategic Planning Committee (CLJSPC) is consulting on its proposals for the area that covers West Lindsey, City of Lincoln and North Kesteven councils.
The document includes proposals for new homes, jobs, roads, schools and other local facilities up to 2036.
This includes a proposal for 585 new homes in Market Rasen and 563 in Caistor.
CLJSPC chairman and WLDC leader Jeff Summers said: “Officers and councillors have enjoyed the face to face debate with hundreds of residents across the joint area.
“Having large maps available for people to look at is a great aid for all whilst analysing community design in detail.
“The importance of producing a plan for growth whilst protecting and enhancing communities is paramount.
“We will no doubt be making some changes to the wording of the plan following this consultation period but I am now very confident we have a document which will deliver our aspirations for growth, social need and employment.
“Thank you for your assistance.”
There is still time to have your say on the plan by going online.
