An inquest takes place today (March 23) into the death of Grasby man Bob Marris who died after going missing in August last year.
Mr Marris, 62, went missing on August 2 and his body was discovered by the Humber Coastguard, off the North East Lincolnshire coast, 10 days later in the late hours on August 12.
Police launched an urgent appeal for information following Mr Marris’s disappearance.
Later his family paid tribute to a ‘loving husband, father, friend and brother’ who they said would be ‘sorely missed’ by everyone.
They said Mr Marris was a highly respected chartered accountant and an avid Scunthorpe United fan, who cared deeply for his family and friends.
The inquest will take place at Scunthorpe Civic Centre at 1.30pm.
