Exciting plans have been revealed for the future of Wragby Surgery.
The surgery is now under the partnership of nurse consultants Sandra Tindall and Sally Wood - and doctors Philip Mitchell and Simon Topham.
They have bought the surgery and an adjacent building which was previously ‘The Resource Centre’. The surgery will be re-named ‘Wragby Community Health Centre’ to reflect the fact that the partners will be developing services for the benefit of the community.
One proposal will see the partners submit an application to the Health Board fora pharmacy, within the part of the former Resource Centre.
Provided it goes ahead, the pharmacy will provide a better service for patients and enable the partners to re-invest in the practice.
The surgery recently staged an open day and coffee morning. Patients had the opportunity to meet the partners and examine a display of some of the plans. More than £300 was raised and will help purchase chairs.
The partners are keen for more feedback about the various proposals and there is a suggestion box at the surgery.
