Aldi will be opening the doors to its new store in Louth on Thursday December 3 at 8am, with a special ‘golden ticket’ event.
To celebrate the opening, Aldi will hand out golden envelopes to the first 100 people in the queue, each containing a prize. Lucky customers will be in with the chance of winning a 55” Full HD TV, Tablet PCs, Sat Navs, and Aldi goody bags.
The Louth store, located on the site of the old Malt Kiln in Newbridge Hill, now stands at 1,254sqm.
The store - which is supported by 114 car parking spaces will be opened by Store Manager, Chris Over and representatives from local charity, Louth Interskill.
The store has already created 40 new jobs for the local community, and Aldi is currently looking to recruit in the surrounding areas. More information on all store roles can be found at www.aldirecruitment.co.uk.
In conjunction with the store opening, Aldi will also be sponsoring the wet tops for the entire Louth Town Juniors FC.
Aldi Store Manager, Chris Over, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming customers into our brand new store in Louth and we would like to thank everyone for their patience throughout the development which first began in October 2014.
“There will be plenty of prizes up for grabs and we hope that customers enjoy the golden ticket experience, as well as the reduced ‘Specialbuys’ on offer.”
Following the store opening, Aldi will be open from 8am-10pm (Monday to Saturday) and 10am-4pm (Sunday).
