The Briggensians Association, the organisation for former students of Sir John Nelthorpe School, the old Brigg Grammar School and Brigg Girls High School, has announced the 2015 annual dinner will be held at Elsham Golf Club on Saturday March 14 at 7.30pm.
The speaker will be former head of Brigg Sixth Form College Nick Grafton who retired last year.
The well-known local actor and drama teacher is sure to provide a witty speech and plenty of humorous anecdotes.
Tickets for the dinner will be available via committee members and the school from early February.
Other dates for the diary are the Briggensians Golf Society Spring meeting at Elsham Golf Club on Sunday April 12, starting at 12noon, and the Summer Sports Evening on Friday June 5.
Briggensians are also being urged to visit the Brigg Heritage Centre in the Angel Suite where they can see the research done by present students into former students who served in and lost their lives in World War 1.
The Heritage Centre also houses an old school blazer of the type worn by the captain of the Old Briggensians Golf society - one of only three reportedly in circulation.
