Following an appeal on her birthday (Boxing Day), police are still looking for missing person Kelly Buckingham from Holton le Clay - and they are now re-issuing their appeal and extending their search to West Yorkshire.

On Boxing Day, a £1000 reward was offered for any information that led directly to Kelly being found.

37-year-old Kelly was reported missing by friends last month and concern is growing for her welfare as there is evidence to suggest that Kelly may have been the victim of an assault around the time she was last seen.

Last week, DI Richard Myszczyszyn said: “In August, Kelly failed to turn up at Skegness Magistrates’ Court and we issued a wanted person appeal.

“Kelly’s friends and acquaintances may be distrustful of police and not believe us now when we say that she is being treated as a missing person, but I would like to assure them that our concern for Kelly is genuine and our efforts to find her are very much driven by our fear that something has happened to her.

“It is so important that we establish her safety that we are taking the unusual step of offering a £1,000 reward to anyone whose assistance directly helps us locate Kelly.”

• Anyone with any information concerning Kelly’s whereabouts should contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident 136 of December 24.
