Volunteer litter pickers turned out in Binbrook to take part in a Clean for the Queen event, ensuring the village looks spick and span for the royal milestone.
Part of a national initiative, the event was organised by parish councillor Liz Hobson, who was delighted with the turnout.
“People really got behind the initiative, which was great,” said Mrs Hobson.
“We have such a lovely village, but it is spoilt by rubbish on the roads leading in, so we wanted to do our bit and tidy things up. This was the perfect opportunity.”
