Plans for the 2014 North Lincolnshire Music and Drama Festival are well underway and the closing date for entries is fast approaching.

Individuals, music and drama groups and schools need to get their entries in by this Monday, November 11.

The festival takes place in Brigg, opening on March 24 with the music aspect and closing with a concert and awards evening at The Vale Academy on April 5.

All music classes will be in St John’s Church, while drama will have three venues across the competitions - The Vale Academy, The Angel Suite and St John’s Church.

A syllabus can be obtained from Brigg Tourist Information Centre or from Grandad’s Shed in Wrawby Street.

The committee is urging more people to enter this year and would also like to see more vice presidents (£20) and honorary members (£15).
