Children at Brocklesby Park Primary School joined Image Musical for a Jungle Book workshop and then all the pupils played a part either as wolves, monkeys or fawns for a performance watched by parents, staff and friends.
“The set, costumes and acting skills were spectacular,” said headteacher Jo Spriggs. “The children particularly enjoyed how interactive the production was as they rehearsed and loving dressing up and taking part. It certainly is one we look forward to booking again for next year’s performance of Wind in the Willows.”
Year 5 and 6 pupils who took the part of wolves said they thought the show was very creative and enjoyable and it was fun to be in and to watch.
And comments from the appreciative audience included: “It was all round a fantastic production and one of the best we have ever had with lots of audience participation in the singing of the songs.”
