Forget school discos of the past, a prom is the place to be and students from Caistor Yarborough Academy showed how it should be done.
The year 11 students celebrated the end of exams and the end of their time at the school with their prom at the Oaklands Hotel in Laceby.
It was a time to dress to impress – which they certainly did – and let their hair down, after all their hard work.
The girls dazzled in an array of gorgeous gowns, while the boys looked immaculate in their smart suits.
Standing out from the crowd was Ann-Kathrin Critten, who, along with her father, arrived in a traditional German outfit.
School staff also dressed up to join the occasion.
But it was not just the clothing that was set to wow, the students arrived in a multitude of impressive modes of transport.
Many chose top-quality sports cars and limousines, while Briony Easton opted for a ‘Herbie’ VW.
Others were more outlandish, arriving in a fire engine, a Jaguar Trike and even a helicopter.
The students posed for the Rasen Mail camera as they arrived, before going in to enjoy a meal and dance the night away.
