A new course begins at Community Learning in Partnership (CLIP) in Market Rasen this month to help people get into further education.

The Access to Higher Education diploma is an alternative to A-levels for adults and is recognised nationally by universities.

Students on the CLIP Diploma will study English, human biology and psychology, which will provide the chance to study a range of humanities and social science subjects at university.

“This is a superb opportunity for local people to gain a full Level 3 qualification without having to travel to Lincoln or Grimsby,” said course tutor Lyn Freeman.

“When we’ve run this programme before, it has been very popular and past students are now working in teaching, social care and management positions as a result”.

The course starts next Wednesday, September 23.
