While the rest of the school was on a day trip, little ones at Faldingworth’s preschool had the farm come to them.
Local farmer Bruce Carter took along sheep, piglets, a calf, goslings and week-old turkeys to see the ‘little jesters’ group as part of their fun day.
And the children had the chance to handle the birds, while preschool manager June Griffiths was allowed to hold one of the piglets.
Little jesters will be holding an open morning today, Wednesday, with a play and stay session for parents with their little ones. Go along between 9.30am and 11.30am to find out what the group has to offer.
