Exciting times lie ahead for the students and staff of a Caistor School.
From this September, Caistor Yarborough Academy will be offering a course in engineering and work on the engineering classroom is well underway.
To showcase what is on offer, the school is holding a creativity open event to be held at the school next Wednesday, March 23, from 5pm to 7.30pm.
There will be music and drama performances, followed by an introductory talk about engineering at Caistor Yarborough Academy.
The event is open to parents and students of any age and there is no need to book.
Drinks and canapes will be available, and staff and students will be conducting tours of all the other creative departments in the academy.
These include resistant materials, art and design, food and nutrition, and physical education.
“Do come and visit and see these opportunities for yourself,” said headteacher Jeremy Newnham.
