Caistor Grammar School is the best in the East Midlands, according to a leading Sunday newspaper.
The Sunday Times’ annual Parent Power countdown again put the school first due to its exam performance.
The standings are based on the percentage of entries gaining A* to B grades at A-level this summer, which is given double weighting, and the percentage of entries returning A* and A grades at GCSE.
“We are delighted but not surprised- we’ve been the leading school in Lincolnshire in Parent Power for about 10 years now” said headteacher Roger Hale.
“We keep on working really hard, doing our best, to be as good as we can be. If we end up topping the tables, so much the better.”
This latest accolade follows others, with the school being judged the best in the county for 12 years running.
The Daily Telegraph recently rated the school 65th best in Britain, the Times had it as the 48th best state school.
