Children had an extra afternoon at school last week when Caistor Primary School invited pottery painter Julie Gifford of The Paint Box, Cleethorpes, to run a workshop for them on Saturday.
More than 50 children took part and they all painted a piece of pottery which has been taken back to be “fired”.
The pieces of pottery will be returned to the children in time for Christmas.
“It was a family event and parents could paint as well. We also had homemade cakes and refreshments donated for the school, which raised funds for the school and St Andrew’s Hospice,” said headteacher Zoe Hyams.
