what’s happening in Binbrook and Wragby
Switch on - The Christmas tree lights will be switched on in the market place this Friday, December 6, at 6.30pm.
As always, there will be mince pies and mulled wine.
And the school choir will be singing seasonal songs too.
Variety Show - A favourite seasonal visitor and maybe even ‘Elvis’ the King himself could be making a special guest appearance on stage when the Christmas Variety Show takes place in the Town Hall this Saturday, December 7, starting at 7.30pm.
Everyone is welcome to join the audience for a festive evening, featuring local talent.
Those stepping on to the stage include Vicky, Charlie and Lily, Keiran, Felicity and Colin plus the Wragby Handbell Ringers and The Lindum Accordion.
Refreshments will be available during the interval and proceeds are for the town hall funds.
Anyone wanting to take part can call Margaret on 01673 858067 or Kathy on 07593 559740.
Vintage Ploughing - Hugh Bourn is providing the hospitality for a vintage ploughing match to be held at The Maltings Field in Victoria Street, on Saturday, December 14, from 10am to around 1.30pm.

There will be a raffle with refreshments available including bacon butties and hot drinks.
