Pupils at a local dance school have pirouetted to a 100 percent pass rate in their recent ballet exams.

The 28 students from The Colebrook School of Dance achieved merits, commended and honours certificates for their endeavours in the examinations through the Associated Board of Dance (ABD).

Wendy Groves from ABD visited their dance studios based in Brookenby and was pleased with the facilities the school offered and the high standard of work shown in the students ranging from three to 12 years of age.

“I am over the moon with our first set of vocational exam results and I am looking forward to working towards the tap and modern exams later in the year,” said School principal Veronica Colebrook-Smith, an associate teacher of dance with ABD.

The school is now working towards their next dance festival, at The Gainsborough Stage Dance Festival in Kirton in Lindsey during the October half term, which will see the youngsters
perform a range of routines in solos, duets, trios and troupes.

The new term starts this Saturday, September 5. For more information call 0800 612 5673.
