Woman went on shoplifting spree

A MARKET Rasen woman stole £336.50 worth of clothes and accessories on a shoplifting spree in Lincoln.

Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard how Julie Barclay, 50, of Plough Drive went to Lincoln on June 23, 2011 and stole £91 of underwear from Marks & Spencer, £80 of perfume and swimwear from Debenhams, earrings and hair accessories worth £23.50 from Claire’s Accessories, four pairs of trousers to the value of £50 from Primark, shoes and two dresses totalling £70 from New Look and £22 worth of shoes from BHS.

Barclay pleaded guilty to all six allegations and was given a £200 fine and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £15 surcharge.
