A WOMAN has admitted fraudulently claiming £4,558.89 in benefits, Lincoln Crown Court heard.

Emma Jones, 28, of Skipworth Ridge, South Kelsey was given a 12-month community order and 100 hours unpaid work after pleading guilty to falsely claiming £2,520.82 housing benefit, £1,570.80 income tax benefit and £467.27 council tax benefit.

Jones failed to let the Department for Work and Pensions know she was living with her husband Richard Dunderdale between May 30, 2007 and September 28, 2010.

She also failed to alert West Lindsey District Council about the change in circumstances between June 4, 2007 and October 31, 2010.
