Rasen copper thefts continue

THIEVES have broken into a house and stolen its copper hot water cylinder.

The theft took place at a property in King Street, Market Rasen sometime before Monday March 14 and caused a leak and further damage.

This crime is part of an on-going series across the county due to the rising world-market price of copper.

Thieves are targeting unoccupied properties and stealing boilers and pipes.

Landlords are being urged to review the security of their unoccupied properties and to make regular visits to them.
