A MAN and woman from Normanby by Spital have appeared in court charged with stealing a car.
Kelsey Parker, 22, and Pebbles Blyth, 18, both of Highgate Lane have been accused of stealing a Ford Fiesta in East Halton on July 12 this year – they deny the charge.
Mr Parker is accused of driving the Ford Fiesta without a valid licence or third party insurance in Townside, East Halton on the same day.
He is also accused of stealing a front number plate and a rear number plate from two separate cars in Grimsby between July 11 and 14 this year.
Mr Parker also allegedly made off without paying for £48.74 of diesel fuel in Grimsby on July 12 this year.
Mr Parker denies all six charges.
Miss Blyth and Mr Parker have been given conditional bail and the case has been adjourned until January 17, 2013 when the pair will stand trial at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court.
