A MARKET Rasen woman found guilty of sending offensive messages is appealing her conviction.

Rachael Winston, 31, of Pasture Lane was given a 12-month community order after magistrates in Lincoln found her guilty of sending an offensive message by a public communication network on April 14, 2011 and twice on April 20, 2011.

Winston was ordered to pay £260 court costs and has been given a restraining order. She was found guilty of the offences in her absence at a hearing on January 19.

The case is now being dealt with at Lincoln Crown Court and will be heard later this year.
