A Market Rasen man was today sent to prison for five years after pleading guilty to a number of firearms offences.
Mark Randall, 55, from Kilnwell Road, Market Rasen was sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court today, Tuesday August 4.
He pleaded guilty to one charge of possessing ammunition without a firearm certificate, one charge of possessing a prohibited weapon, one count of possessing expanding ammunition, and three charges of possessing a prohibited firearm.
Various weapons, ammunition and firearms were found during police investigations at his home address in Market Rasen and a separate lock up in Lincoln in April 2015.
A Destruction Order was made for all the firearms to be disposed of.
The Investigating Officer PC Phil Gidlow said “This is a really positive result and the destruction order allows us to destroy the large amount of weapons Mark Randall had.”
