Man’s drugs and knife charges

A MAN has been accused of having a machete style knife in a public place, Scunthorpe Magistrates’ Court heard.

Jamie Ingledew, 19, of Brigg Road, Wrawby allegedly had a knife at a lay by on the A18 at Mortal Ash Hill in Scunthorpe on September 27, 2011.

He is also charged with having 11.763g of cannabis in Scunthorpe on the same day, with the intention of supplying the drug.

Mr Ingledew denies the charges and will stand trial at Grimsby Crown Court on April 30.
