Louth pensioner accused of murdering her partner

A Louth pensioner has been remanded in custody after being charged with the murder of her partner.

Lynn Stallard, 66, of Eastfield Road, is accused of the murder of Louis Spires, 68, whose body was found at a house in Eastfield Road on Friday, May 15.

On Monday, Stallard first appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court where she wept throughout a two minute hearing.

She was then remanded to appear to the city’s Crown Court on the same day.

Stallard spoke only to confirm her name at this brief hearing. No plea was taken.

Judge Michael Heath remanded her in custody to appear back before the crown court on Friday, August 14.
