Police continue to search for missing 83 year-old Marion Scott.
Although Marion suffers from dementia, she is very fit and agile and may appear much younger than her age.
It is possible she may have covered some distance from her home and we are renewing the appeal for farmers, landowners and residents to check all their sheds and outbuildings and asking the public to let us know if they think they may have seen Marion at any point over the last few days.
Assistant Chief Constable Keith Smy has expressed gratitude to the local residents and volunteers who have given their time to help search for Marion, but the nature of the physical land search has now changed and will be carried out by professional search teams.
While volunteers are being asked not to turn up to help search, we do still ask that everyone keeps an eye open whilst they go about their daily business such as dog walking etc.
