A chocolate shop owner has admitted sexually assaulting a boy, a Scottish court has heard.
Alan Dixon, 77, of Willingham Hall Industrial Estate, pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a boy in Scotland on one occasion between December 2010 and July 2013.
Dixon, a partner in Market Rasen’s Special Edition Chocolate, changed his plea just before his trial was due to start at Dunoon Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
The court heard how this charge had originally involved more than one incident, but this was amended by the court to just one occasion.
Dixon stood by his not guilty plea to ‘lewd, indecent and libidinous practices and behaviour’ involving a boy on various occasions - and this was accepted by the court.
He will be sentenced on August 31.
