Court date set for woman accused of stealing from pensioner

A WOMAN accused of stealing £800 from a pensioner is due to appear in Grimsby Magistrates’ Court on Friday, June 22.

Emily Seward, 20, of East Torrington had been due to appear in court on Tuesday, May 29 - she failed to turn up and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Miss Seward is accused of stealing £800 from Janet Dunning in Grimsby between December 1, 2011 and December 5, 2011.

She has been remanded on unconditional bail.
