A BLEASBY woman has been found guilty of two assaults after a trial at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court.

Josephine Smith, 56, of Bleasby Fields Farm, assaulted Wallis McWilliams and Kirstie Gilbert by beating them in Grimsby on May 3, 2012.

Smith has been ordered to pay £75 compensation to each victim and has been given a 12-month conditional discharge for each offence. She must also pay £250 court costs.

A further charge that Smith claimed to be a police constable has been dismissed.
