North Lincolnshire Council is set to carry out works to improve C137 Caistor Road starting on Monday January 4 (weather permitting) for four weeks.
The work will be carried out from where Caistor Road joins the A18 south for a distance of approximately 700 metres. It will include road widening and resurfacing.
This section of road will be temporarily closed while the work is carried out, and a diversion will be in place.
The diversion route will be from the A18 to Great Limber and then Grasby Road to Caistor Road, and vice versa. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
Councillor Neil Poole, cabinet member for Neighbourhoods, said: “It is essential that this work is carried out to improve this part of Caistor Road. We are trying to keep disruption to a minimum and will endeavour to get the work finished as soon as possible.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but it is necessary we make these improvements - so please bear with us.”
