A coffee morning at Middle Rasen Methodist Church has raised £321.80 for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

Organised by Anne and Geoff Crawforth and their happy band of helpers, the event attracted a large number of people all wanting to support this life-saving charity.

And as well as coffee and cake, there were other stalls, including a natty knitted mice game.

Joining in the fun of the morning were Mel Parris, community fundraiser for LNAACT and fundraising manager Emma Young.

“We are absolutely thrilled that once again we have been chosen to benefit from this fantastic event,” said Emma.

“It costs £1.9million a year to keep the ambucopter flying and it is down to amazing people like Anne and Geoff we are able to do this.”

The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance began its service in April 1994 and it now flies approximately 1,000 missions every year, with the helicopter capable of flying at speeds of just under 160mph and able to reach any point in the two counties in less than 20 minutes.
