A TOTAL of 120 people attended a meeting of Wragby Supper Club at Wragby Methodist Church on February 17.
Money raised by the club over the last year was presented to Wragby causes by the Rev Canon Alan Robson.
Receiving £50 each were Kev Parker of Wragby Football Club, Fred Wickert of Wragby Swimming Pool and Dot Sandaver of Wragby Play Park Fund.
A talk accompanied by short videos was given by Flight Lieutenant Mike Child of the Red Arrows.
Flt Lt Child included the history of the Red Arrows, formation flying, how pilots are recruited and training procedures in his presentation.
He said that around 120 personnel were involved in the various jobs required to keep the Red Arrows flying.
The presentation was well received and a vote of thanks was given by the Rev Canon Alan Robson who praised the work of the Red Arrows team.
Following the raffle, supper was served and members had an opportunity to speak to Flt Lt Child.
The Supper Club meet on the third Friday of every month.
The cost is £4, which includes supper.
The next meeting will be on Friday, March 16 when Douglas Carstairs will give a talk entitled Transportation of Prisoners to Australia.
