A cash boost for the Lincoln and Lindsey Blind Society was very welcome following a vintage ploughing match held in Wragby.
More than £250 was raised at the event, held at the Maltings Field in Victoria Street by kind permission of Hugh Bourn.
Supporting the master ploughman during the match was David Watling of Sixhills, pictured, with his seven-year-old Dutch Draft work horse pulling a set of old harrows to clear the soil.
As a day job, horse and master would pull trees out of the woods where tractors are unable to work.
