A BROOKENBY army cadet was among three from Lincolnshire lucky enough to be selected to attend the Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace.
Toni Bradley, Kayleigh Adams from Bourne and Stephen Brammer from Cherry Willingham were accompanied by their parents and instructors with the cadet force to the palace to enjoy an amazing evening of music they will never forget.
They joined cadets and adults from all the services, where they had a fantastic view of the stage in the standing area.
The group was so well positioned they were able to see the acts and presenting comedians preparing to go onto the stage as well as on the stage itself.
All guests in the standing area were given a souvenir bag, containing a programme, piece of cake, a rain poncho – which thankfully was not needed – and most importantly a flag.
The experience of the concert and atmosphere in London on the Jubilee weekend was something all agreed would never be forgotten.
