Workshops, coffee mornings and family history - it’s all happening at Rasen Hub this month.
Art workshops run from 10am to 12 noon every Wednesday.
They are if you have little or no previous experience or just want to develop your skills and cost £10 per session.
On May 4, the topic will be drawing portraits - a guided introduction to drawing heads and faces to build your confidence with a range of drawing media and simple techniques.
Following on from that, May 11 will look at painting portraits in acrylics - learn how to mix flesh colours, compose your painting and model the forms of the head through colour and tone.
On May 18 and 25, there is the opportunity to try contemporary landscape painting.
Another of the popular herbal workshops takes place on Tuesday May 10 from 7pm to 9pm.
This time, it will most likely involve working with hawthorn, plantain and ground ivy to make your own gentle remedies for common health issues.
The cost is £15 per person; take along your own jars and bottles, but all other materials will be provided.
Trauma Teddies is the subject for the craft workshop on Wednesday, May 25, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
Wool and patterns are available in advance from the Hub.
On Saturday May 7, there will be a Macmillan coffee morning from 10am to 1pm, when there will be a sale of craft items, tombola, refreshments and, at 11am, a demonstration of 3D Needle Felting.
As part of the Crime, Law and Order event, the local policing team will be at the coffee morning on May 14 to offer advice and help with property marketing. There will also be a demonstration of rag rug flowers at 11am.
Rasen Hub is open from 10am to 3pm every weekday, except Thursday.
