The Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce is urging businesses to apply for a share of £1.4 million in a grant scheme.
There is still £1.4 million of the Greater Lincolnshire Business Capital Growth Fund available for growing Lincolnshire businesses - and the money must be allocated by December 2016.
The Greater Lincolnshire Business Capital Growth Fund was launched in October 2014, with £2 million allocated by the Regional Growth Fund to directly support Greater Lincolnshire businesses to grow and reach their full potential.
So far £600,000 has been awarded and will create 124 jobs and safeguard three over the next 12 months.
The Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, which manages and delivers the programme, is urging local businesses to utilise the fund to both support their growth aspirations and to assist in reaching the target of creating or safeguarding 297 jobs in Greater Lincolnshire by March 2017.
Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce chief executive Simon Beardsley said: “We want to urge local businesses in need of assistance with their growth plans to contact us to find out how the fund could potentially help them.”
Grants range between £10,000 and £250,000.
The bid for the Greater Lincolnshire Business Capital Growth Fund in Lincolnshire was supported by the Federation of Small Businesses, Greater Lincolnshire LEP and Lincolnshire County Council.
