Brigg’s College Yard area is set to become the heartbeat of business growth in the town.

Business partners Mireille West and Jenny Ellis have relocated their business - Brigg Office Supplies - to the town’s former library and see a bright future in their new home:

“We are excited,” said Mireille.

“We are both opposite types of characters, but the best of business partners.

“Our success is down to loyal backers in Brigg and the surrounding area. “

The pair originally bought the business where Spellmans is now, then went to College Yard and now finally they have moved a few doors along to the library.

And Town Mayor Carl Sherwood is delighted a new use has been found for the old library.

“It’s great to see a business like this expand and to see College Yard and the Old Courts Road area once again doing so well,” he said.

“A key factor in this is the free two hours parking we introduced.”

The new venture for Brigg Office Supplies was made possible with funding from the Natwest.

“Jenny and Mireille are ambitious customers and this move to new premises means the business can grow and offer an even better service to its clients and customers,” said Steve Bundell, relationship manager for NatWest.

“I’m delighted that NatWest has been able to provide the funding necessary to complete this move.

“I would like to offer Jenny and Mireille the best of luck in their new home.”

Boyes have also recently opened in the locality and above Office Supplies is Huxford’s Electrics who are renting the upper floor of the library.
