Lighting company Tradelight has won planning permission for seven starter homes off Serpentine Street, Market Rasen.
The homes replace earlier proposals for three-storey ‘eco-friendly’ homes, which also received consent last year.
The latest plans are for one block of three houses and two semis. All homes would be two-storey. There would also be parking.
A report for West Lindsey District Council says the site is currently derelict. It also noted backing for the project from Market Rasen Town Council.
WLDC said the proposal was acceptable as it contributed to the housing supply of Central Lincolnshire and would redevelop and regenerate “previously developed land in a sustainable location within a town highlighted for a focus of such regenerational activity.”
Residential amenity will not be significantly affected and the character and appearance of the Conservation Area will be preserved.
