A Brigg businesswoman is celebrating the sweet smell of success after her product was chosen to grace the tables at Buckingham Palace.

Artisan chocolatier Fiona Sciolti sent her award-winning chocolates to London for a prestigious charity event at the royal palace.

The Children and Families Across Borders (CFAB) charity hosted the celebratory occasion last week to mark the 90th Anniversary of the International Social Service Network.

And the event was attended by Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra, as patron of the charity, alongside many other high profile dignitaries and fundraisers.

“I am thrilled – absolutely thrilled,” said Fiona.

“To be asked to support such a prestigious evening and know that my chocolates will be enjoyed by guests at Buckingham Palace is indeed an honour.”

For the palace collection, Fiona showcased one milk, dark and white chocolate – including flavours from her award winning truffles range.

And the royal event comes hot on the heels of other exciting news for the sought after chocolatier.

Fiona is currently preparing to jet off to an exclusive Thai resort - favoured by Hollywood A listers - where she will be demonstrating the art of artisan chocolate making to their guests.

And late last year, Fiona was also chosen by fashion haute couture royalty Christian Dior to provide her hand made chocolates for their corporate Christmas gifts.
