Brigg Business Partnership members held their AGM and looked back on another busy, exciting and successful year.
Successful events included the Pump Blessing, the Big Gig, BTBP Fashion Show, Briggstock, and the Christmas Windows and Interiors Competition.
The group is currently in the process of supporting the setting up of a local Pub Watch scheme being co-ordinated by Chris Saddington and, having listened to town businesses, has amended and changed its constitution to ensure the Partnership is inclusive.
The recent AGM was well supported and the partnership welcomed new committee members - Richard Mason of Mason Baggott and Garton, Louise Beacock of Molly’s Flowers, Alan Ford of Brian’s DIY, and Chris Saddington from The Nelthorpe Arms, who was co- opted last year but his place on the committee was formally confirmed at the AGM.
Other members were re elected to serve for another year - Malcolm Bailey (Chair); Jayne Kitching (Vice Chair); Janet Bailey (Treasurer); Amanda Mallender (Secretary); Deb Dunderdale (Membership/Web site Coordinator); Fraser Lath (Health and Safety Officer); Peter Thomas, (local Churches representative); Chris Darlington (Marketing Coordinator) and Sandy Andrews (Membership and Events Officer).
For 2015 the group is planning a similar programme and is also exploring developing an on line directory to facilitate on line trading for members.
It is actively involved too in the Neighbourhood Action Team meetings.
For information email email@example.com; the next full meeting is at 5.30pm on Tuesday, March 24 in the Nelthorpe Arms’ restaurant.
