The Market Rasen Business Improvement Group is still winding down.
Mr Big chair Sara Scott says the group was to meet West Lindsey District Council yesterday to “finalise some financial stuff” and arrange a date to formally “shut the project down.”
The group is also working with the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce about “continuing the activity.”
Ms Scott, who has previously published the accounts of the Community Interest Company, says this will happen once they receive ‘sign-off’ from West Lindsey District Council.
“Everything has been slowed down by the election,” she said.
MR BIG’s ‘legacy’ also includes it paying half the cost of 40 hanging baskets, which will be erected around Market Rasen Town Centre, and financially supporting them for three years.
“Once they are in place, the town should look absolutely beautiful,” Ms Scott added.
